Setting Up Mail
Apple's application for email is called the Mail program. The first time you open it up you will be greeted with a welcome message. You need to already have an email account before you use the Mail Program. In order to set up your email account just fill in the information for your account, type in your name, your email address and your password. As long as you have “automatically set up your account” checked, when you click on the “create” button, Mail will automatically set up your account. Go ahead and click on create and you will see that Mail will connect to the correct email servers for your account and set it up for you. It’s that easy! The advantage of using the Mail program for your email is that it integrates with other Mac applications, such as the Address Book and iPhoto.
