Understanding the Right Side of the Menu Bar
The right side of the menu bar will stay the same no matter what application you are in. However, it is highly customizable. The key to understanding the right side of the menu is to learn and remember what the icons stand for. For example, this pie shaped icon, is for the wireless internet connection. Next to that you will find the speaker icon, which is once of the places you can control the sound volume. Here is the Date & Time, which you can also customize to display however you’d like. To the far right is spotlight, a useful application when searching for something on your computer.
