iCal
iCal is Apple’s calendar program. It comes on your dock or you can find it in the applications folder. Once in iCal you can view by day, week or month. You can make different categories, like work, home, family, friends. To add a category, click the plus button down here and type in the name. Each category has a different color and when you add events to your calendar you will be able to assign each event to a category. I’m going to show a neat way to keep things simple. Let’s say your calendar is getting crowded and it’s hard to read. You can uncheck certain categories and the calendar will only display the categories that are checked. So if I uncheck work, then everything assigned to that category will go away. It come right back as soon as I check the work box again, so you are deleting your data, you are just hiding it. iCal is a great calendar and it’s especially useful if you have an iPhone or a .me account, then you will be able to sync your iCal and have all of your events with you at anytime.
