Changing Icons
One fun thing you can do with your Mac is to change the Icon of any folder, file or disk. It’s easy to download free icons from the Internet. I have already found some just by googling free icons. So here are some Icons I found. I want to take this cool file box and make it the Icon for my documents folder. To do that I simply click once on the Icon to highlight it, then use the keyboard command, apple I, for get info. Click the icon at the upper left of the get info window, then choose apple C, for copy, or edit copy. Next I’ll go to the documents folder and do a get info on it. Click on it once, apple I, click on the existing icon and do either edit paste, or keyboard command apple V. Now you can see that the documents folder icon has changed. This is a fun way to customize your Mac and it can be done on any file or folder, even your hard drive Icon.
