is another great tool from Apple that lets you navigate around your
computer faster. It’s
really great for multitasking. So to set up your expose, go the apple
menu and select system preferences. Then choose Expose & Spaces.
All windows, F9
means if I push F9 on my keyboard, the computer will show me all of the
windows I have open and now I can mouse around to all of them and easily
select whatever one I want and then I just click on it and it takes me
there! Now if I don’t want to use F9 for that task, I can click
here and choose a different key for that command. The same goes for
Application windows and show desktop. So let’s say right now I
want the computer to show me the desktop. I’ll just push F11 and
there it is. To get back to what I was doing, I’ll just push F11
again. That’s a great
tool if you just quickly need to check something on your desktop. If
you have multiple files open in an application and you push F10, the
computer will show you all of them and you can easily switch between
them. Now for the Dashboard you can push F12 to show and hide the dashboard.
All of these shortcuts are Apple’s way of automating computer use.
The more familiar you become with these shortcuts the faster and easier
it will become to use your computer.
