Adding and Removing Buttons on the Menu Bar
Adding or removing buttons on the menu bar is fairly simple. Let's add an eject button to the menu bar. This will give you a convenient button to quickly eject any CD or DVD. First open your Macintosh Hard Drive, then click on the System folder. Next click on the Library folder. Now scroll down to CoreServices and open that folder. Next open Menu Extras. Now to add the eject button to the menu bar just double click it. And there you have it the eject button has now appeared on the menu bar. Go ahead and double click on the Display menu and now you will see it on your menu bar. You can use this to quickly get to your display settings. Now let's go over removing buttons from the menu bar. Let's go ahead and remove the Display button that we just added. Hold down your Apple key and click and drag the button away from the bar and the button will disappear! That's all there is to it!
